What does it cost to sell your home?

What a sale costs depends on how you sell. These are the costs to take into account.

What is your home worth?

First see what your home is worth. Then start preparing early and without obligation: free, for as long as you like.

Part 1

Commission or fixed price.

A realtor usually charges a commission on the sale price, typically 3 % to 4 % excluding VAT, and carries out the sale for that.

Hoobler works with one fixed price for listing and guidance. You know exactly in advance what you pay, regardless of the sale price.

Part 2

Costs you have in any case.

Apart from realtor or platform, there are legal costs attached to a sale:

  • Compulsory certificates such as the EPC and the soil certificate (the cost varies per supplier).
  • Possibly an electrical inspection and, for older homes, an asbestos certificate.
  • The notary’s fee and deed costs (largely regulated).

Part 3

What is included in the price at Hoobler?

The fixed price covers the listing of your home plus the AI guidance: retrieving data, setting the price, enhancing photos, writing the advert and managing buyers up to the notary.

Frequently asked questions

Answered briefly.

How do I compare a realtor with a fixed price?
Look at the amount and at what you get for it. A commission rises with the sale price, a fixed price does not. A realtor carries out the sale for you; at Hoobler you choose how much help you want.
