Photographing your home for the sale

Photos decide whether a buyer clicks through. You do not need expensive equipment, but you do need light, calm in the picture and the right order.

What is your home worth?

First see what your home is worth. Then start preparing early and without obligation: free, for as long as you like.

Part 1

The basics: light and calm.

Good property photos revolve around two things: plenty of daylight and a tidy picture.

  • Photograph during the day, with the curtains open and the lights on.
  • Clear away personal belongings, magnets and clutter, a neutral picture lets the buyer project themselves.
  • Keep the camera straight and at chest height, so that lines do not tilt.
  • Take one wide photo per room that shows the space, possibly supplemented with a detail.

Part 2

Order and the first photo.

The first photo is the most important: it decides whether someone opens your advert. Choose your strongest image, often the facade in fine weather, or the brightest living space.

Then build up logically: living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, outdoor space. Hoobler can automatically order and enhance your photos, so that your advert looks well kept right away.
