From listing to notary: how it goes

Once your home is online, a fixed pattern follows. This is what happens between listing and handing over the keys.

What is your home worth?

First see what your home is worth. Then start preparing early and without obligation: free, for as long as you like.

Part 1

The steps in a row.

Roughly, a sale proceeds like this:

  • Listing of your home with photos, description and price.
  • Viewings and questions from interested buyers.
  • A bid, negotiation and acceptance.
  • Signing the sale agreement (compromis).
  • The authentic deed at the notary, with the transfer of ownership.

Part 2

Where Hoobler guides you through.

Hoobler keeps bids, viewings and messages together in one overview, and makes sure your notary is in the dossier from the start. That way you lose no time between accepting a bid and the appointment at the notary.

Frequently asked questions

Answered briefly.

How long does a sale take on average?
That depends on price, location and market. After the sale agreement the deed usually follows within four months: within that period the sale agreement must be registered, and in practice the notary does that with the deed.
